Frank Plumpton Ramsey (1903-1930), British mathematician, philosopher, and economist. His major works include Truth and Probability (1926), Foundations of Mathematics (1931), and Economic Essays (1951). His fields of specialization were philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of economics, probability theory, decision theory, and mathematical logic.
